DuoTask uses Firebase and Google AdMob services:

• Cloud Firestore, to store lists, tasks, notes, alarms, members, and shared settings.
• Cloud Functions for Firebase, to run app routines, including shared-notification workflows.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging, to send push notifications and manage device tokens.
• Firebase Hosting, to host public pages such as this policy.
• Google AdMob, to display ads. DuoTask requests non-personalized ads.

Ads

DuoTask uses Google AdMob to display banner ads. The app requests non-personalized ads. Non-personalized ads are not based on a user's past behavior, but they may still use technical information, identifiers, or contextual data for ad delivery, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and fraud prevention, as permitted by Google's policies and applicable law.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by the third-party services listed above to provide authentication, storage, notifications, hosting, and ads. Content in shared lists may be visible to users who are members of those lists.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep data for as long as needed to operate your account and provide the app's features. You can initiate account deletion inside DuoTask from Settings. You may also contact us at the email address below for support, correction, export, or privacy questions. After account deletion, some data may need to be retained temporarily for technical, legal, security, or backup reasons.

Security

We use Firebase tools and access controls to help protect app data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we aim to use reasonable safeguards to reduce risk.

Children's Privacy

DuoTask is not intended for young children and does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it when appropriate.
